Nothing to do with Fish and Chips, but thousands of visitors a year zooming back home after fish and chips in Whitby, don’t even know Fryupdale exists, for me its about the nicest dale in Yorkshire, particularly in harvest time. The air is full of that fresh cut aroma of meadow grass.
This scene was taken from the top of Crossleyside, the farm in the middle showing the building used to belong a friend of mine. It is now The Yorkshire Cycle Hub there is also the Great Fryupdale Cafe there too with an amazing views down the valley.
